Airport transfers

Getting to Davos should be the easy part of your trip. With a Davos airport transfer from Davos Private Driver, your chauffeur is waiting for you in arrivals, handles your luggage and drives you straight to your hotel or venue in Davos or Klosters.
We track every flight in real time, so early arrivals and delays are handled without a single phone call. Sedans, vans and minibuses are available for individual travelers, corporate teams and VIP delegations – one-way, round trip, or combined with a car on standby for a full day or the entire week.

Which airport is best for Davos?
For nearly everyone, the answer is Zurich Airport. It has the most international connections, and Davos is only about 150 km (93 miles) away – roughly two hours by car. We know the route inside out, and you can read all about it on our Zurich Airport to Davos page.
Geneva works if your flight connections are better there, but plan on a much longer drive across the country – usually four hours or more. Engadin Airport in Samedan near St. Moritz is popular with private jets; from there the drive to Davos is shorter, but winter conditions on the mountain roads determine how long it takes. Wherever you land, we’ll quote your transfer before you book your flight if that helps you decide.
- Zurich Airport (ZRH) – about 2 hours
- Geneva Airport (GVA) – roughly 4 hours or more
- Engadin Airport, Samedan – depending on route and weather
- Zurich main train station or Landquart train station – on request
How booking works
Send us your flight number, arrival time, number of passengers and your address in Davos. We confirm a fixed rate and the vehicle, and a day or two before you travel you’ll receive your chauffeur’s name and cell phone number. If your plans change, just let us know – we’d much rather move a pickup than keep you waiting.
For your return trip, we pick you up at your hotel and allow plenty of time for check-in and security. Many clients book both directions together, and some add a car on standby in Davos so the same chauffeur takes care of them for their entire stay.
Group & delegation transfers
From a single traveler to an entire delegation
During the WEF, many companies arrive with several people on different flights. We coordinate every pickup, assign the right vehicles and keep one schedule for the group, so your team lead doesn’t have to.
- Multiple arrivals on one booking
- Sedans for executives, vans and minibuses for teams
- Separate luggage vehicle on request
- One point of contact for all changes
- One invoice for the entire group
Airport transfers during WEF week
For the World Economic Forum, most attendees arrive within the same two or three days, and the highway from Zurich Airport to Davos gets very busy. We track every flight, allow extra time for the security checkpoints outside Davos and can pick up entire delegations arriving on different flights. If you need a car and chauffeur for the whole week, see our WEF Davos chauffeur service with fixed weekly packages that already include two airport transfers.
The 2027 Annual Meeting runs January 18–22, 2027. In the days right before it starts, Zurich Airport is unusually busy and many delegations are on the road to Davos at the same time. In Davos itself, security checks and restricted zones around the Congress Center slow traffic down. We plan transfers with all of that in mind: realistic timing, chauffeurs who know where cars are allowed to stop, and a backup plan if a flight changes at the last minute.
Our advice is simple – book early. Executive vehicles with experienced local chauffeurs are limited, and the best arrival-day slots go first.
Comfort after a long flight
After a long-haul flight, the last thing you want is a crowded train platform. Our vehicles are quiet, warm in winter and have room to stretch your legs. Bottled water is on board, and if you need to take a call, your chauffeur keeps the radio off. Traveling with children? Just request child seats when you book.
Arriving by private jet
Private and business jets usually arrive at the business aviation terminals (FBOs) in Zurich or at Engadin Airport in Samedan. Send us your tail number or handling agent and your expected arrival time, and your chauffeur will be waiting right where you exit the terminal. During WEF week these airports are especially busy, so the sooner we have your details, the smoother your arrival.
